Am I A Candidate?

There are many factors to consider that may influence whether a patient is a candidate for weight loss surgery. We assess  a patient’s BMI in the context of their medical history and examination before making a decision regarding surgery.

Weight loss surgery is suitable for the following patient’s

  • BMI >40
  • BMI 35-40 with obesity related illness

Some patients with a lower BMI may be a candidate for surgery after clinical assessment.
